What this site records, why, where it is held, and how to have it corrected or erased.
When you create an account
Your name, your phone number — that is what identifies your account —, the interface language, and, if you provide them, your wilaya, your year of birth and a parent's number. No email address is required. When you do not give one, a technical address is generated from your number for the system's internal needs; it serves nothing else and receives no message.
When you order a card
Your first and last name, your phone number and a second number if you give one, your wilaya, your commune and your delivery address, the course ordered, the amount and delivery fee, then the order status and its tracking number with the carrier. This is used to deliver your card and to call you back for confirmation. Ordering does not require an account.
While you study
The time spent on each lesson, where you stopped, what you finished, and which teacher's series completed the lesson. That is what lets you resume in the right place, see your progress, and be offered the explanations that suit you. This tracking is visible only to you and to the site's team.
Technical data
Your IP address and browser type are recorded with your session, and on every attempt to activate a code. Activation attempts are kept to stop codes being guessed at random: it is the system's only protection against that kind of attack, and the first to benefit are the students whose cards would be tested.
Cookies
Two cookies, and nothing else: the one that keeps your session open, and the one that remembers the language you chose. There is no advertising cookie, no tracker and no external audience measurement on this site today.
Videos and YouTube
Videos are played from youtube-nocookie.com, and nothing is loaded from YouTube until you press play: before that click, the page shows only an image. From the moment you start a video, YouTube receives your request and applies its own rules, over which this site has no control.
Who hosts this data
The application is hosted by Hostinger (France), the database by Neon (Francfort, Allemagne), and the documents with Cloudflare R2. These providers host on behalf of ⟨ À RENSEIGNER ⟩: they do not exploit this data for their own purposes. No data is sold or handed to a third party.
Your rights, and accounts of underage students
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data by writing to ⟨ À RENSEIGNER ⟩ or calling ⟨ À RENSEIGNER ⟩. This service is aimed at middle and secondary school students. A parent or guardian may exercise these rights on a child's behalf and ask for the account to be closed. Closing an account erases the progress attached to it: that is final.
